This will be a very short column this month. Between the holidays, the
upcoming AMC meeting, work put in on the Events handbook, my 30th year high
school reunion, and buying a new house, I've been a little busy.
Yup, you will probably have to update your newsletter once settlement takes
place, so take this as a heads up! Anyone interested in seeing pictures can
send me an email, and I'll direct you to the online site. (Do I sound like a
proud parent or something? Please forgive me - this house is one I've been
wistfully eyeing for over 15 years...)
Reminders:
- Scholarship programs should be well underway. Thanks again for all
those people who have volunteered to help out with this program.
- Don't forget to renew! One way of avoiding forgetting to do so would
be to sign up for a multiple year plan or a lifetime membership. Renewal is
especially important this year, as we have a contested regional election
(for RVC) and you gotta be a member in order to vote!
- Make it a point to enjoy the best of Mensa (well, at least in my
opinion!) and attend one of the upcoming RGs. Snowball is scheduled for
Feb28-March2 of 2003. And don't forget about the Annual gathering in St
Paul, Minn. (July 2-6)
- Got a concern? Want your thoughts heard? Have input for an upcoming
AMC meeting? Can't find something? Contact me!
I told you this would be a short one. Bye!
