Region 2 Leadership Development Workshop
Leadership Development Workshops (LDWs) are interactive workshops with the purpose of developing local group leaders. This LDW is open to all of our members, not just the officers. This is a great way for past, present, and future leaders of Mensa to meet, share ideas, and learn some new ways for doing things and invigorating our local groups.

   Room rates $92/night
Registration:
   There is NO FEE to attend this LDW.
   Registration deadline was April 30.
Hospitality:
   Hospitality is open Friday evening from 6 PM to midnight, and Saturday during breaks in the programming
   Hospitality includes snack food and non-alcoholic beverages
   Continental breakfast Saturday from 8 AM to 8:45 AM
   Free lunch in the hotel dining room on Saturday

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM "Basics of Your Proctor Network and Testing Program" by Yvonne Brownlee and Sallie Banko
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM "Gatherings" by Margaret (Peggy) Scherbina and Jan Foley
11:00 AM to 12:15 PM "Dealing with Problem Members" by Allen Neuner, former American Mensa Ombudsman
12:15 PM to 1:30 PM Lunch
1:30 PM to 3:00 PM "Developing Mensa Publicity Tools" by Don Pendley, former American Mensa Development Officer
3:00 PM to 4:30 PM "ExCom Basics" by Sallie Banko, former Region 2 RVC and former American Mensa First Vice Chairman
4:30 PM to 5:30 PM "Getting Involved at the Regional, National or International Level" by Dave Remine, former American Mensa Chair and former Mensa International Chair
